Description
A tummy tuck is a procedure that removes extra skin and flab from the lower abdomen. This surgery is popular among people who have lost significant weight and have remaining sagging skin, including women who have given birth and feel their body has not returned to its pre-baby appearance. Tummy tucks are often combined with liposuction to optimally contour the abdomen.

An Abdominoplasty, or Tummy Tuck operation, is where we excise extra skin
from the lower abdomen. A lot of women come to the office, or men, and they
have extra skin and fat in their lower belly that just doesn't seem to go
away no matter how much they exercise or workout. Sometimes somebody has
lost weight, and after they've lost weight they've realized there's loose
skin in the lower belly.
It's a very common procedure for women who have had kids and their body
just hasn't gone back to what it was before. The operation takes about two
hours. The one downside to a Tummy Tuck is that you're left with a scar
that goes from hip to hip and we keep this car as low as possible so that
you can go to the beach and a wear bikini and nobody will see it because
it's hidden by your clothing.
Very often, we combine a Tummy Tuck operation with Liposuction of the hips
to contour your hips and really give you the hourglass figure or that waist
line that you desire. And at the same time when we go inside to cut out the
extra skin we also tighten up the muscles of the abdominal wall to give you
a narrower waist line.
here are newer techniques with Abdominoplasty where we can really shape or
carve the sides of your waist or even the muscles in the mid-line to try to
give it a more athletic appearance. And a Tummy Tuck is a very effective
operation at contouring the abdomen.
