A nipple sparing sparing mastectomy with DIEP flap natural tissue breast reconstruction with the scar hidden in the fold or IMF incision, allows us to achieve a result where most people (even your doctor) will be unable to determine that you had a mastectomy. In this case we also performed fat grafting to augment or enlarge the breast reconstruction for a more cosmetic result that looks and feels natural. Notice how the belly scar is low and can be hidden by her clothing. A high scar is a common complaint of many woman who have had a DIEP flap procedure with other surgeons.
