About Dr. Lerman
Dr. Lerman has extensive training from some of the top institutions in the country. He did his residency in general and plastic surgery at the Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU Medical Center. He also trained at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. In addition, he completed a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. There, he focused on Microvascular Surgery and Breast Reconstruction. Dr. Lerman has written over 40 articles, book chapters, and abstracts. He lectures regularly, and is board certified by multiple organizations. Thanks to his training, he performs a range of advanced breast reconstruction surgeries. These include DIEP flap, PAP flap, and GAP flap techniques.
